FARM-RAISED. FIELD-PROVEN

OUR STORY

WHERE IT ALL STARTED

BearClaw Equipment was founded by Elwin Bearinger and his father Mervin — a father-son team who grew up on the farm and understood what breaks first.

They saw firsthand what the trailers and processors on the market couldn't handle; low-clearance bank barns that no bale shredder could navigate; dump trailers that fell apart under real loads; hydraulic systems that spent more time leaking than lifting.

So they started engineering their own solutions — not for a product line, but for their own farm.

BORN IN THE BARN

The BearClaw Bale Processor came first, designed specifically for the narrow, low-ceiling bank barns found across Ontario and the northeastern U.S.

Its all-wheel drive and steering technology proved that maneuverability and power didn't have to be a trade-off. People noticed. Demand followed.

From there, the challenges of debris hauling pushed BearClaw into construction trailers. Design improvements, material upgrades, and a growing list of patented technologies turned what started as a better dump trailer into a full product line engineered for the toughest conditions in construction and agriculture.

GROWTH & FACILITY

FROM FARM SHED TO 30,000 SQUARE FEET

By 2021, BearClaw had outgrown the crowded farm shop where it all began. The company moved into a purpose-built 30,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Moorefield, Ontario — a space designed for higher production volume, tighter quality control, and the room to keep developing new products.

The steel is cut, welded, assembled, painted, and tested under one roof by a team that understands what these machines face in the field. There's no outsourced assembly line. No overseas fabrication. Just Canadian-built equipment made by people who stand behind it. Every BearClaw trailer and shredder is manufactured right here.

MISSION

Our mission is to design and manufacture reliable agricultural equipment for farmers and commercial contractors, delivering quality craftsmanship, dependable service, and business relationships built on integrity and Christian values.
